VH with 3.8L v6

Hi, This is my 1983 VH SL/E V6 commodore.

It has a VP V6 conversion done by myself and a mate with a 4 speed turbo 700 auto transmission.

The actual conversion process was done over a week and included changing the cross member to a VR item, VP steering rack, tail shaft fitting new exhaust with cat converters, fitting a VL fuel tank and fuel lines with high & low pressure fuel pumps, and connecting the wiring loom which was made by myself to the original loom.

The car has been lowered 2" by Whitline suspension kit which includes springs, shocks, adjustable panhard rod, strut tops and radius rods The exhaust has a set of pacemaker headers with twin HSV cat converters into a single sports muffler and mandrel bent into a sports resonator and 3" stainless tip. Interior is stock, including the trimatic shifter but includes a pioneer stereo system with 2 x 12" bullet subs in the boot, indash cd player with a 6 stacker in the boot, 2x100W amp and a 4x100W amp which powers the subs. 6x9" 4 ways on the rear deck and set of tweeters up front. 17" HSV wheels keep the car stuck to the ground... and I mean stuck to the ground :)

Future mods include:

ps. i will have a web site up soon with all details of the conversion on it....

cheers
