Tony's VH SL/E

This is my pride and joy. My endless money pit. As you can see I have had the car resprayed using the original Mercury silver but with a Ford apollo blue and a violet pearl throughout. The car's suspension has been fully rebuilt using the full Pedders kit of lowered springs, short stroke sports ryder shocks, adjustable panhard rod and fully adjustable front and rear sway bars. Sound waves are controlled by a Pioneer deck with a 12 cd stacker, Kenwood tweeters in the dash, Kenwood 6" 2 way speakers in the front, Kenwood 6 x 9" 3 ways and a Kicker 10" sub in the back powered by a couple of Kenwood amps. Engine at this stage is only a 253 with some carby work to the factory quadrajet , Genie extractors with a full 2.5" system and a Brock cold air race tray. Fuel is kept up to this little sucker by the use of long range fuel tank from a VR Commodore. Trans is still the good old trimatic rebuilt with a shift kit and additional oil cooler. Creature conforts include power steering, electric windows, trip computer, central locking and air con and more importantly an alarm / immobiliser. Further plans will include tinted windows, 17" clubsport wheels, 355 stroker engine with a turbo 700 and better brakes than the crappy factory 4wd setup currently used.
